Rehearsals are in full swing in Praga Cultural Centre! Actresses are memorising last lines, the set-designer is tailoring last costumes, the composer is tuning last tones, and the directress is putting it all together.
Count the days down with us until premiere show, join the Facebook official event and, most of all, hold on to us from 9th to 12th of July.

The time has come for us to reveal a secret of one of our projects. As you already know, we got two significant grants this year, and we can proudly introduce you to one of them. We have been rehearsing a new piece for children for the last few weeks, and it is called NIECH TO LICHO! When we were working on Polish Queens and Queerness, we came across plenty of plays for the youngest audience. We were so intrigued that we decided to present them as performative readings, and they won the hearts of kids. And so it was settled then - we had to make a show! LICHO swings back and forth between theatre piece, playful workshop and performance. We are in continuous search of a new form, not only to break the fourth wall but to leave no boundaries between the spectator and the actor. While following some forest characters, our young audience is going to have a real influence on the plot, because how the story develops is up to the audience’s choices… The goal of our project is to encourage children to participate in cultural life of the city, to lead them into collective creativity, to improve their empathy, and - above all - to let them have great fun supported by life music!
Premiere - 9th of July, PRAGA Cultural Centre (Dom Kultury PRAGA), Warsaw. The show will be performed only in Polish.
The project is co-financed by Warsaw City Hall. Project Partner - PRAGA Cultural Centre (Dom Kultury PRAGA).
TERAZ POLIŻ once again joins BLAUE FRAU to bring WHENEVER… back to the stage. This time we are going to be guests of Turteatern - independent theatre in Stockholm. Turteatern, alike WHENEVER…, is famous for extending boundaries, rejecting traditional conventions and disseminating of experimental art. Freelance theatre artists from Poland, Finland and Sweden meet up where language is not an issue.
Performances: 7pm, April 27, 28, 29, Turteatern, Lågskärsvägen 13, Stockholm.
We are happy to inform that TERAZ POLIŻ got two significant grants from Warsaw City Hall!
We have immediately started working at full speed on both subsidised projects, and we are ready to unveil a little of their secrets. We are preparing something for the demanding pre-school audience, but we will take care of adults’ needs as well. Neither radio listeners nor theatre lovers will be bored this year with us. We will provide knowledge for those interested in literature or the history of Polish theatre. Everyone can find something tailored to her/his/its wishes among all those various events we have for you during following months.
