Four young women.
Four different reasons.
Four defence mechanisms.
Four death wishes.

OUR DAILY PSYCHOSIS 4.48 is a play centred on fears, phobias and obsessions - both the trifle ones and those that keep you up at night. We examine why and how these maladies of the soul and the mind come about, and what can be done to alleviate (or fix...) them. In the process, new questions arise - questions on the boundary between sanity and madness... What is it that determines the difference between low spirits and clinical depression? What kind of an opinion does one have to have about yourself and the surrounding to consider suicide a tempting solution to one’s problems? And what next?

Four stories.
Four truths.
Four grievances.
Four hopes.
