8 is a story of decay, isolation and the inevitable consequences thereof, or rather a story about finding happiness by following stray paths. In our search for completion we look up high into the stars while we fail to notice that happiness lies on the horizon, the thin, slender and straight line suspended 5 centimeters above the pavements and living room carpets.

8 is not a magic number, nor an illusion - it’s a fact, a dry mathematical calculation. It is the story of eight extraordinary, awe-inspiring women who at first glance appear to be happy but soon lose control over their illusory “I” they’d furnished for themselves and others to see.
